Positive: The attentiveness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated.

Negative: If you bring a rental park, you have to park some distance and then drag your suitcases. Unfortunately, this is true for most all riads in the medina

Positive: Riad Green House was a pleasure to stay. The staff - Mehdi is so courteous and helpful. He made our stay completely comfortable. The Riad is a renovated old house, located right in the centre of the Fes Medina. Mehdi came to help us with the luggage and ensured that we settle down comfortably. Mehdi along with Menal made our stay very enjoyable and they ensured they catered to all our requirements. Since it is a renovated old house, the steps to the rooms could be a little tough for old people. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food provided was excellent.

Negative: Nothing really. The hospitality is so good that our group could not find anything amiss.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay in Fes. The location was perfect for exploring the medina, and everything was within walking distance. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully traditional. The staff were warm, helpful, and always ready to guide us with local tips. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. Overall, a very authentic and pleasant experience — highly recommended.

Negative: One recommendation for the property owner would be to provide clear, upfront instructions to guests after booking about the exact location of the riad and how to reach it. Since the riad is located inside the medina, cars cannot reach the property and Google Maps does not work reliably in this area. This is especially important for first-time visitors traveling with family. Like us, guests who rely on Google Maps may get lost and experience unnecessary stress. In our case, I had to leave my family in the car and walk to the riad to get help. Mehdi was very helpful, and once we reached the property everything was fine. However, if we had known in advance about the access restrictions and the correct approach, this anxiety could have been completely avoided. Clear pre-arrival guidance (parking point, walking directions, or staff assistance) would greatly improve the guest experience.

The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help us with everything we needed. They guided us, gave us great recommendations, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Negative: The mattress was a little firm for my personal preference, but for a short stay it was absolutely fine and did not affect the overall positive experience.
