Positive: Perfect secluded mountain getaway with family. Best part food store a mere 8 mins away. Close to everything you can venture out to do. Ultra clean, mega tall spacious clings and the showe r I the master room amazing! fully stocked home away from home. comfortable and just a breath of fresh air. Will return

Negative: Meh loved it all. One of the second bedrooms bed was a bit to firm for two of the guest but the couches and chase down stairs made up for it. Gas grill was on some sort of weird timer couldn’t us

Positive: Beautiful home. Very clean. We enjoyed our stay there very much. It was so very nice to have soaps, dish detergent, toilet paper and the Dove toiletry items. Thank you. Hope to return again. Beautiful property!

Negative: Upstairs bathroom—bathtub spout and handle loose. Needs checking, but was not a problem.

Positive: The house itself is fine. It’s a bit out of the way and in Alexander, not in Juno as listed, an intentional deception, I suspect, as Juno is closer to Asheville.

Negative: The driveway is rough. Wi-Fi is erratic. TV reception is even worse. The biggest downside is Vacasa itself. It’s communications are frustrating at best. While response time is satisfactory, the canned replies tend to be vacuous and likely to sidestep questions and issues. The company is simply unwilling to try to accommodate guests’ needs. That attitude is reflected in the agreement you will have to sign in which clients have no rights and Vacasa denies responsibility for everything. You will not see this until you’ve paid your non-refundable fee—too clever by half. I will never again rent any accommodation from Vacasa and, quite frankly, it’s a stain on Booking.com’s reputation that it allows this company to be featured on its platform.
