Quietly tucked down a small country lane only 1.3 miles from the interstate and 4 miles from the Meramec River, our guesthouse is nestled among the five acres of mostly oak forest. Now with Starlink wifi as of Dec 2024. Guest have full use of the property including organic vegetable garden, hiking trails, and bonfire pit. Two queen beds . Bonfire pit and plenty of yard for family game time. Our two goats, four barn cats are waiting to meet you! We have a NO pet policy.

Summary: We were pleasantly impressed with our stay! Everything was perfect. When we arrived, we were greeted with a welcome message and a small bag of delicious oatmeal cookies. (The absolute best oatmeal cookies I’ve ever had!) The place was clean and we loved the property. It was private and well kept. We used the BBQ grill Saturday evening and enjoyed sitting in the backyard and enjoyed the peace & quiet. And the beautiful trees that surrounded the property. We visit Bourbon, MO every year for our annual float trip. And usually stay on the camp grounds. Not anymore! We’ll definitely be checking in with Chuck and Donna before considering the campgrounds going forward.

Summary: Not quite what I expected, but the property was off the beaten path, quiet, and clean! The owners were very nice and accommodating. The "Guesthouse" is exactly that. Small, not much bigger than a nice motorhome, and just enough room for a couple with or without a small child. It suited me just fine as I was traveling solo and didn't need much room. The bed was very comfortable, and the thermostat worked perfectly. For the price, you can't go wrong. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Chuck & Donna!
