Summary: We stayed at this double log cabin for a 2 night family get together.in late March. 7 adults, no kids. Plenty of space, authentic cabins with a newer section connecting them. I would say the description and pictures are spot on. We loved eating in one night (most appliances are updated and the old refrigerator did well). We LOVED having an outdoor fire both nights. The negatives in my opinion may NOT be negatives for others. We are either city or suburb dwellers. It was cold in the house even with the heat as high as it would go (65). We were cold sleeping and just never warmed up (we did hear the upstairs bedrooms were warmer). And the listing said it was not accessible. Please take that seriously. None of us have any mobility issues and are relatively fit. But there are lots of roots in the yards and when it is dark, your phone flashlight doesn't cut it. The stairs outside are not exactly right (some small rises, some giant rises) and there are no handrails, no rail around the porch. So this 67 year old kept telling everyone all weekend to watch the roots and then fell down the outside steps the last day. Nothing broken, but it will be a while before healed. Also if I had known how windy, and gravelly the "street" and driveway were, I pesonally would have picked another place. But again, we do not drive those types of roads often and saw a young guy flip his car on the first day. Just know this place is rustic but enjoyable.

Summary: We loved the space and the property - lots of room for all the kids! The drive up the last part of the road was slightly terrifying, and the hurricane had washed out parts of the drive, so if you have a choice in vehicles bring the one with higher clearance and AWD.

Summary: This cabin was perfect for an extended family vacation. The location is remote enough to enjoy some quiet time and enjoy the surroundings, but close enough to venture out for hiking, fishing, and beer/wine tasting. The bedrooms are well situated so we weren't on top of each other. The covered porch and rocking chairs were the best part of the house!

Summary: We loved the house and the property! The drive there was longer then expected, but the directions were exact. We put balloons at the end of the driveway because it's slightly hidden. The house was beautiful! Loved the bedroom to bathroom ratio, which made it perfect for several families to share. The fridge needs updated, but it still worked out. The back porch and fire pit were huge hits for everyone! We will definitely be rebooking in two years!
