Positive: This hotel is a short walk from the train station however you can request a pickup via their electric hotel bus. The hotel is near the aquaduct / river so you hear to rush of the water during the night which is relaxing and cooling on a warm day. Just a short walk from the main street and restaurants it is far enough away to enjoy the ambience. the breakfast is the morning offers a very good selection.
Negative: the pillows were too soft for our liking but I'm sure would suit most tourists.

Positive: We're two parents & two teenagers and we traveled in early June 2026. The hotel is three buildings along Sunneggastrasse. We stayed in room 312 in a family room in the easternmost building. One bed is in the main seating area/living room and overlooked the heated pool. The views of the Matterhorn from the balcony are phenomenal and having that view affords plenty of opportunity to check on the mountain, which often hides behind clouds. The room was clean and the beds are comfortable. We ate the included buffet breakfast each morning we were there, and there's a wide assortment of choices. The hotel features a spa with three heated pools (two are indoors), a dry sauna, a steam sauna, and a large indoor area to relax. On our last day there, we used the hotel's convenient electric taxi to take us back to the train station. La Ginabelle was the overall best hotel on this trip, with high marks scored for view, comfort, food, and facilities.
Negative: This is not a criticism of the hotel at all- just advice. We booked our vacation a year in advance & didn't realize until a few months in advance that parts of the area -- trails & lifts --- don't open until late June or July.
Summary: Best all-around hotel on our trip! Would stay again.

Positive: The staff were helpful, polite and very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were spacious. The views, oh mind, please opt for rooms with the full view of the Matterhorn. It will be worth it!
Negative: Nothing that I can think of. It was just prefect for us.

Positive: Romantic and luxurious. Great location. Excellent breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Nice bathroom amenities. We were in the Altiana suites. Fabulous apartment with view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. Luxurious spa with many options. Staff were great. Taxi service from/to hotel from taxi stand. Big, comfy bed. Robes and slippers.
