Positive: Beauty, simplicity, hospitality,, wellness and tranquility!!! Everything about this resort is faultless, a truly wonderful place to stay To rejuvenate and to capture the heart and soul of Sicily!! ! The staff are truly amazing and go out of their way to make your stay, each and every one of them work to ensure they provide the best personal service to all the guests where you feel part of the family. The food is delicious and lovingly prepared, if you fancy a snack nothing is too much trouble for them to prepare. Make sure you book the cooking experience. I need to mention Susie and her wonderful baking, yum yum!!!! Thank you to each and every member of staff who made our stay so magical, you all went above and beyond. The wellness, spa is a must treat yourself to a massage and facial during your stay. Trips, transport can also be arranged so even though the resort is remote you won't be stuck for things to do A stunning holiday from start to finish, I will miss waking up each morning to this gem of Sicilian beauty!!!! I will definitely return. Xx

Positive: its a hidden Gem- located in an olive orchard with a warm friendly family feel- its like visiting the italian family you hoped to have we enjoyed the pool, the communal spaces, and our fabulous room traveling with 3 kids, we felt safe and welcomed- they got to take cooking classes and enjoyed these so very much fantastic food!!!!

Negative: to get there you have to go some not so scenic parts of town

Summary: a wonderful experience for our family with welcoming hosts and great food

Positive: The hotel was stunning and a real treat! We were greeted very warmly and taken in to the kitchen to see our dinner being prepared and offered a drink and something to eat. Everything was beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. Dinner was served outside on the terrace. The only thing to note is that you are not given a menu to choose your dinner, it is prepared for you and everyone eats the same thing (unless you have allergies/preferences etc). The gardens and swimming pool area was just fantastic too. Overall would thoroughly recommend!

Positive: We had such a lovely stay at Fontes Episcopi. The staff are so helpful and welcoming, the hotel and gardens are beautiful and the food is amazing. I couldn’t recommend a stay here more highly! Definitely have the breakfast and dinner if you can.

Positive: This was a lovely place to stay -- my daughter and I took a cooking class and we learned how to make fresh pasta as well as involtini! An absolute highlight of our trip. We ate at the hotel both nights, which was delicious and lovely setting out on the patio. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful with recommendations.

Positive: First of all lovely staff! We felt really welcomed and well taken care of. We spent a lovely afternoon by their pool being served cocktails while sunbathing. In the evening we enjoyed a home cooked dinner out in their garden. We only planned to stay one night but we wished we would have stayed longer! We we're afraid that the surroundings wouldn't entertain us for more than one day in our limited schedule. But the stay it self offered more than enough activities with cooking classes, a wonderful garden and spa treatments.

Positive: Beautiful estate located in Arragona. Staff is very friendly, they take the time to explain everything and to chit-chat. They speak fluent English and make you feel at home. The hotel feels more like a family than a hotel. There are options to cook meals for the guests massages an pottery baking. Also olive picking in October! Walking around the estate you'll find many animals. Which we love. The interior is beautiful, very artsy yet personal. Again - not like a 'normal' hotel. The pool is a pluspoint. Feels very luxurious, towels and sunbeds available. It's great that they cook with local food - mostly from their own land, although not the best I've ever had. You can have breakfast for 10 euro's pp, lunch for 30 pp and dinner for 45 pp. Wine starting from 20 euros. But you can also have dinner in Argigento for example at Nuccio. We had a very nice dinner here. Keep in mind that staying here is a bit expensive, you'll have to pay for everything extra. Nevertheless this was our favorite stay in Sicily (by far!!) and we’ll be back for sure :)
