Summary: Second time we have stayed here. The location is excellent. The outside space and grounds are beautiful The staff we met were lovely, very pleasant. The breakfast room is huge and we enjoyed the breakfast too Negatives: it’s extremely dated and in some places it is actually shabby. The bed(s) were singles pulled together, not fastened, so they separated if you turned over during the night. The beds also had very ill fitting toppers on them which also moved. So much so that my wife fell on the floor thinking she was leaning on the bed - but was actually just the mattress topper overhanging the mattress by about 6 inches! Overall this is a lovely place but could do with modernising.

Summary: This could be so good. An amazing location, nice grounds and great staff, but the buildings really need a redecoration job to be brought up to current expectations. This could easily be a luxury health and wellness retreat, but at the current standard it isn't. Great for a family stay, not so much for a full holiday.

Summary: Lovely location in a peaceful wooded area. Rooms a little dated. Carpets in hallway a bit tired looking. Breakfast buffet very good. Evening buffet the day we were there was €33.50pp. Swimming pool decent size but closed twice a week 12-5 for children's swimming lessons.
