Positive: The location is absolutely great, and it has a wonderful view of the Tuscany hills. The room was big (the second one) and well equipped. Also we enjoyed the nice breakfast, not a lot of options, but the ones we had were excellent in quality and taste. Also, great coffee! Staff was also very nice. The pool is a great addition, though the water was VERY cold, making it difficult to enjoy it fully.

Negative: The first room we got was presented differently in the pictures on Booking, it was not presented that one of the beds would be in the kitchen :). And the worst part was the smell of mold in the room. Fortunately, the staff helped us and we changed the room the next day. The second room was definitely nice. But be aware, that some of the rooms you book are in different building and you have to walk up a small hill. Also, we didn't enjoy the restaurant for dinner, it was expensive and the cooking is average (not bad). We only went for the first night, but after that found local restaurant much better than this.

Positive: Beautiful and charming typical tuscan property, in a quiet location in the hills just a half hour north of Florence. Two large outside pools. Our suite was beautiful, huge, clean, the bed was big and comfortable, the bathroom had a fantastic shower, towels were good and plenty. Great place to relax.

Negative: We were there for Moto GP, which is another half hour further north, and prices were, in our view, exhorbitant for such a remote location. Since the location is remote, you MUST have a car or a motorbike to get around. The restaurant on the premises had the pretense to be elegant and high end, and had a small and expensive menu, which was the same every single day. Even the fresh venison "of the day" was exactly the same dish, every day. The dishes wer good but most were obviously frozen and microwaved to order: the frozen middle of one of the dishes I had confirmed that. The pasta was obviously boiled to order, but was way too "al dente" (I'm italian by the way, I can judge that) that one has to wonder if there was even a real chef in the kitchen. It is a true shame in a region where excellent home made cuisine is the rule, and expected. It would be more appreciated to tone down the pretense of elegance and serve real, and fresh tuscan cooking.
