Positive: Walked with heavy bags from bus station, no problem. Room was spotless. Great water pressure in shower, with hot and cold water. Linens and towels were soft and smelled good. Rockers outside the room. Our favorite things were the hosts and breakfast. On arrival, my husband walked to the convenience market in the next block. It started to pour rain and Jose, one of the owners, realizing he had left with no raincoat or umbrella, walked one down to him. This just spoke to the level of commitment and care these owners have for their guests. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay there is amazing. The breakfast everyone raves about is rave worthy. We left having tried yucca root - which is delicious. There was fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juice, some of the best coffee we’ve ever had, and an assortment of other yummy items, leaving us full, satisfied and wishing for that same breakfast, when we were no longer staying there. It was such a warm and welcoming stay that it was more like visiting friends or family.

Positive: Lovely elderly couple who own and manage the place. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Small room but clean and adequate with hot shower water. Perfect for a pitstop in David primarily because it is only 5 minutes walk from the main bus terminal where you get buses to/from Boquete, Volcan and Panama City. Bit farther out of town (c 15 min walk) but for me there wasn't much in David anyway

Negative: No restaurants really close by. Need to go to the town centre and you are advised to take a taxi if after dark

Summary: Great for a pitstop between other key locations. Very close to main bus station. Lovely hosts.

Negative: Occasional noise from horns of heavy vehicles one night that woke me up.
