Positive: A beautiful serene setting, well appointed rooms with full kitchens and lovely outdoor terrace. Very happy with the free electric bikes and the kind receptionist setting up the barbeque for us ( though we couldn't work it out in the end). The staff were very accommodating and the location and gardens really gorgeous.

Negative: It was a bit weird that the bed was set up from the sofa ( which meant you didn't have a sofa to sit on). The room was not well sound proofed as I was kept awake by the people upstairs stomping about and dragging chairs etc. The wellness / sauna was lovely and great that you could book a private slot but the spa / jacuzzi was not clean and it needed an overhaul as was falling apart in places.

Summary: A peaceful retreat where you can hear the Soca river bubbling in the background, a great base.

Positive: The location is perfect, right across the river within a walking distance to a walkjng path next to the river. You can easily derive from there to all attractions in the valley. The team was super friendly and helpful accommodating us to the room as soon as we arrived despite being before the check-in time.

Positive: It was very new and clean, with personal service by excellent staff. It had a sauna and whirlpool spa bath in a natural setting. There were some lovely touches like coffee on arrival, a breakfast basket and a small farewell gift. The apartment was well stocked and had a bbq downstairs that you could book. The setting by the river was very peaceful, with nice wading spots nearby.

Negative: The location was a bit removed from the closest town, although there was a convenience store next door. While you couldn’t walk to a restaurant, it was a very peaceful setting to cook your own food. The master bedroom was a little small.

Summary: Residence Soca had very welcoming staff and it was a lovely stay in a peaceful setting.
