Positive: The scenery around Julian Village is simply impressive. You are surrounded by large mountains on three sides, it looks like the end of the road. The house is perfectly adapted to this environment in cosy mountain type style - but the luxury version. Best beds I ever slept in. The amenities are top: free mountain bikes, detailed plans for hiking/biking, hot tub, barbecue, nice cushions for outdoor seating and great bathrooms. Internet is challenging in this rugged environment.

Positive: This place is just as beautiful as in the photos. The location is quite remote, which makes it perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay — no traffic, no noise, just mountains, trees, and fresh air. The house is fully equipped with everything you might need: a great kitchen, a cozy living area, a barbecue spot, and of course the jacuzzi — probably the best one we’ve had in a long time.

Negative: Just be aware that the nearest shop is around a 20-minute drive, so plan your groceries in advance. The only downside was that some renovation work started during our stay — a bit of chainsaw and construction noise for a couple of hours a day. Not a huge issue, but worth mentioning. Still, overall an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend!
