Positive: Convenience to 5 restaurants that were walking distance

Negative: The sportsbar, Junkyard that was across the parking lot played loud music from 9pm-1am on Saturday night. I thought the hotel would ask them to turn it down because no one could miss the bumping base and loud music. I could make out songs that were playing at the sportsbar.

Positive: The kitchenette, the room was spacious and homey. It had everything we needed for our stay.

Negative: The air conditioner in our room (right next to the bed) was SOOOOOO loud it sounded like there was a plane landing in the room and it rattled on top of that. I did not sleep at all the first night, I almost asked for a new room, but then just sucked it up. I did end up getting used to it and covered my head with a pillow to block out the rattling, but my poor dog, who is sensitive to abrupt noises didn't sleep at all for three nights.

Positive: I really wanted to give kudos to the quality of the towels. Fluffy enough, white enough, plus there seemed to be some kind of stretchy material in them so when wrapping them around ourselves, they stretched and wrapped every time.

Negative: Only 2 luggage carts for all of the facility ! Come on Marriott.. Spring for a couple more. Front desk staff on check in (3 p.m. Tuesday the 24th) not very helpful or particularly pleasant. Surprised by that because had stayed in quite a few southern Calif. hotels by then and always very pleasant staff.

Summary: That price pt. leads to expectations for more than provided.
