This serene, two-story home sits on four wooded acres just outside small-town Swanville. Drive six miles north for a day of swimming and picnicking at Swan Lake State Park, or head six miles south to charming downtown Belfast with its excellent restaurants, cafes, and antique shops on the shores of Penobscot Bay. Take memorable day trips to Camden (25 miles) and Acadia National Park (52 miles), and swing by Young's Lobster Pound for dinner on your way home.
Begin and end each day in the tranquil outdoor spaces, listening to the songs of nesting birds in the trees. In the mornings, bring your first cup of coffee outside to the large, elevated deck; in the evenings, gather to roast marshmallows and tell stories around the firepit.

Summary: The setting was lovely, the house was beautiful. The deck was perfect to hang out. The weather was too warm to use the fire pit, but in late summer or autumn I'm sure it would get tons of use. The house was spotless, beautiful. Would definitely go back!
