Summary: We’ve had a fantastic stay in Pietralba. This place is located in a quiet village, with a amazing view. The house itself was very modern from the inside and offers everything g you need. Louisa and her brother Charles where very friendly and replied very quickly. I highly recommend this place!

Summary: This beautiful place afforded us access to a lovely area of Corsica. It is situated in a small mountain village with wonderful views of the mountains. It is centrally located so could easily access both the east and west coasts. Our hosts were very responsive and welcoming. I would suggest renting a small car as the streets in Pietralba are very narrow.

Summary: Absolutely a suggestion when going to corse and wanting to explore the island. Make sure your car isn't to big😃 the stay and everything else connected to it was superb. The house is perfect and the surrounding is magnificient. Louisa is one of the nicest hosts that I had during the last years. She was always there when something came up once needed help. During and after our stay.

Summary: Our holiday home was perfect in every way The house has been renovated to a very high standard in a contemporary way that was still in keeping with its village. Setting which made the most of its location and with fantastic views over the valley from the terrace It was equipped with absolutely everything one needed The location was good for acces to the beach and train which runs through Corsica main towns A local restaurant epicerie and Boulanger were a 5 min drive away Louisa was very welcoming and helpful and we thank her for a fantastic holiday home

Summary: This is a delightful modern apartment situated in a mountain top village that is full of character. We were met by a family member who showed us around the apartment and explained about the amenities in the village and nearby. The apartment had everything needed for our stay. The largest of the balconies has amazing views of the valley. Just captivating. Taking meals or just a coffee and watching birds of prey, red kites I think, patrolling over the landscape below us was amazing. We explored this area from Calvi to Bastia, and particularly enjoyed a day in Calvi and the scenic drive to Saint-Florence. Highly recommend this property and the service by the owners.Thank you very much for an unforgettable week.

Summary: We spent a week in this beautifully appointed apartment in Pietralba. The owner and her brother met us and were very friendly and welcoming. We had a lot of useful and helpful information from them about the village and Corsica in general. Calvi, Ille de Rousse and the beautiful town of St Florent are all within easy driving distance. The house itself is very up to date although the building itself is very old with stacks of character. The panoramic view from the sunny veranda of the valley below is breath taking. A great centre if you are keen walker and not far from beautiful beaches further west.As Pietralba is an ancient hilltop village its roads are very narrow and steep, so take a small car. Highly recommended.

Summary: We were bowled over by the location of this house. Situated in a mountain village it is surrounded by the most incredible scenery. The arrival instructions were very well organised and Louisa and her family are extremely friendly and helpful. The house is as described on the website and is clean and very well appointed. Everyone in Pietralba is very friendly and welcoming. We spent a very enjoyable evening at the pizzeria in the village and and there is an excellent bakers at the entrance to the village which we walked to every morning for our bread and a coffee. With the option of two terraces you can spend your whole day observing village life! The house is perfectly situated for exploring the La Balagne region. We visited the beach at L'Ostriconi, L'ile Rousse, Calvi and Bastia during our weeks stay and after a long (and hot!) day of sightseeing we were happy to return to the peace and tranquility of this little village house. It really felt like being at home. We will certainly be going back!
