The house is located in the medieval village of Aroniadika in the center of the island. Aroniadika is a traditional village located on one of the island's most important crossroads. It is in the traditional colour of the island and its architecture is reminiscent of the houses founded in Mani, an area in the southern Peloponnese.
It consists of two separated complexes sharing a common patio covering a total area of 136m2. The first building features a large living room area with dining table, an open plan fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. The second building features two independent guestrooms with respective bathrooms. In the courtyard there is a dining area and a barbecue area.
Externally, each building has been built in line with local traditional architectural style, using stones, open wooden ceilings as well as shaded seating areas. Internally it is fully furnished and carefully decorated with selected objects.
The house is fully equipped featuring a TV, a DVD player, free wi-fi internet, an i-pod dock station while there is the option of providing house service upon request. The house can be rented as a whole throughout the year for a minimum of a week and can accommodate up to 6 people. The house is an ideal place for a family vacation or a romantic escape. It is a 20mins drive from the port of Kythira, 'Diakofti' and a 10mins drive from the airport. Most of the beaches are 15mins drive away from the village.

Summary: This island and the place are a dream Wonderful

Summary: This house is located in the mainland of Kythera in the calm and sweet village Aroniadika. Its ideal for 6 persons, since its separated in different lodges which share the main yard and the central living room. The decoration is exquisit! Every room is fully equiped and so beautiful that relaxation is guaranteed. You certainly need your own car to explore the island, since the beautiful beaches are almost 20 minutes drive from the house. Even though, you will not be close to HORA of Kythera you will not regret it, since you will enjoy private luxury moments. The only pitfall for me was that the locking system of the doors and of the shutters was complicated and I couldnt unlock the doors by myslef, even though I tried every day to do this. Generally, it is strongly recommended for people who dont mind staying far from the sea in a clam village.
