Summary: This house is exactly what we wanted. A perfect place for a couple or a couple with 2 small children. The gîte was the immaculately clean upon our arrival and was exceptionally quiet for sleeping. The hosts, Régine and Bernard are very special people. We appreciated the beautiful flowers gracing our table upon arrival. Moreover, we were treated to a continuous supply of excellent vegetables directly from their garden during our one-month stay. The heirloom tomatoes were exceptional. I should also mention the eggs Bernard regularly gave us from his own henhouse. It’s just amazing what eggs taste like when the chickens are allowed to eat what the chickens want to eat. American industrial agriculture please note! The whole experience here was just superb. We hope to return — often.

Summary: This property was exactly what we wanted. Perfectly situated so that we could enjoy all of the 75th DDay celebrations and also enabling us to explore both coastlines and meet up with friends in the area. Well equipped and very clean. Regine was the perfect host and she even gave us fresh potatoes and salad from her garden. The area is very quiet and that was what we wanted. Somewhere to relax after a busy days exploring. We thank Bernard and Regine for their hospitality and hope to return to their property. Would highly recommend this rental. Sue and Gary Baines

Summary: This is our third holiday in this beautiful region of France and we enjoy it more with each visit . We were based thirty minutes from Cherbourg in a small village near Surtainville . Our host Regine lives next door from the gite and is available should you need anything .The gite is superbly equipped and well located for visiting the numerous amazing beaches this region has to offer . Regine welcomed us into her home and kindly gave us a superb box of salad and vegetables during our stay which she grew herself . If you want a relaxing get away from it all break in a stunning house in the country then this may be for you . If visiting you may need to swot up on your French as not a lot of English is spoken here which only added to our fun ! Thanks Regine for welcoming us . A bientot Liz & Dan .
