Positive: Very nice room with a bathtub. I liked the breakfast too, good choice.

Negative: Note that the hotel will charge you more as a deposit which comes back later to your account. But, if you have a foreign currency card you won‘t receive the same amount back, as you lose two times on the exchange rate - when they take it and when they give it back. The spa in the hotel is a bit overpriced, but it’s a separate company. Better to choose something outside, there are a couple of spa centers right next to the hotel which are far better.

Positive: The staff, room and service in general was that of a 5 star hotel. The lobby staff spoke English very well and helped us out multiple times.

Negative: The location is a little far away, but it's right next to a metro station, which makes it very easy to get around, just a longer commute time.

Positive: We liked everything about this hotel, the new furnishing, cleanliness,attention and everyday support of the staff . They have a good English speaking staff which is rare in China. Breakfast was really good, almost the same every day, but tasty and a lot of choices. The breakfast restaurant meets 5 star hotel standards. The location was great , 2 steps away from metro line 7. Whenever I asked the stuff about the directions I got help and detailed information which was really amazing. It’s 6 km away from downtown but taxi is affordable and you can reach the turist destinations by metro. We stayed from December 27 to January 5 ,2026 and enjoyed every day in this hotel. I surely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Shanghai.
