Positive: The customer service was great, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, although some dishes were a little oily for our tastes. The room was clean, and room service provided everything we needed. Very near Guanshanhu park. There was also a local shopping district with lots of food within 5min walk.

Negative: The door to our rooms were thin - we could clearly hear people (and each other) talking when in the hallway. The decor was also mediocre, didn’t feel like a 4.5 star hotel. A bit expensive for the quality of the amenities and environment.

Summary: Comfortable for our needs, but nothing impressive nor memorable

Positive: The hotel itself is phenomenal. The bar cocktails and snacks were great. The hotel is in a great location for the museum and modern bars and restaurants such as Commune, BUT it is a long way from the historical centre. The breakfast was reasonable.

Negative: The furniture in the room was aged and dated and chipped and scratched... it needs urgent replacing. There is no room service, or at least no menu in the room. The breakfast was reasonable, but the options for vegetarians is very limited.
