Sutton Special is your home away from home, remotely located on 10 acres providing breathtaking serenity and privacy and yet conveniently located 12 miles from downtown Palmer. Incredible hiking trails surround you, the Matanuska Glacier is a beautiful 45 minute drive and the state fairgrounds are just down the road.
Enjoy breathtaking mountain views from every window, especially the expansive wall of windows in the open to above living room. The home is equipped with in-floor radiant heat everywhere which keeps everything cozy and there is a real wood burning fireplace if you just want the cozy ambiance of a real wood fire (firewood and kindling are provided).
This incredible property includes 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Three bedrooms are furnished with beautiful Queen bedroom suites, two of the bedrooms are furnished with cozy Twin beds and one bedroom has a Bunk Bed. Additional beds are available upon request. You'll never have to wait for a shower or bath with 5 full bathrooms; 4 of the bathrooms have private toilet rooms and double vanities to maximize their functionality.
The master bedroom has an extremely comfortable King bed and lots of big windows to enjoy the views. In the morning you can sit in bed enjoying coffee looking out at the expansive mountains around you. You may choose to spend some lazy afternoon hours sitting on the private master bedroom deck enjoying the sun and views. In the master bathroom enjoy the elevated jetted tub where you can soak and take in the breathtaking views and then jump into the oversized walk in shower.
The kitchen, dining room and living room are very spacious and designed with an open concept to facilitate gatherings. You can prepare a meal while the family watches a movie or sits at the dining table working on a puzzle; everyone feels connected without being cramped.
