Summary: We stayed a few nights at the log cabin and absolutely loved it. The location is quiet and offers plenty of privacy, there are houses around but you don’t see or hear people. It’s about 20 min from downtown Palmer with an easy and scenic drive. We took day trips to Hatcher Pass and visited both Knik and the Matanuska Glaciers. The area is absolutely beautiful. Cabin itself is wonderful, very clean, bedroom upstairs is a good size- the one downstairs (we did not use) is small, basically just fits a queen sized bed with little room left. But we loved the kitchen and the living room area, they’re spacious and beautifully decorated, as seen in the pictures of the listing. Kitchen has all the basic essentials. The grill is kind of old and useable. We really liked the little fireplace, it warmed up the cabin very nicely! We also appreciated the washer, dryer and thoughtful supply of detergent, dryer sheets and even a drying rack. Highly recommend this cabin. Thank you for hosting!

Summary: Our stay at the cabin far exceeded our expectations. What an amazing feeling it was to return to this hidden gem after a day full of exploring. We even saw a Mom and baby moose on our way into the neighborhood. The cabin had everything we needed and was comfortable like our own home. We definitely hope to return some day. Thanks for sharing this little slice of heaven. :o)
