Enjoy the crystal clear Rainbow River from this spacious, welcoming home that will sleep 8 adults very comfortably. Relax and enjoy the peaceful river views from the screened in porch on the upper level as well as from the recreation room on the lower level after a day of tubing or kayaking on the river. There is a spacious dock at the river with a boat slip as well as a separate dock to launch smaller watercrafts.
The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked and includes coffee and tea varieties for breakfast. Additional staples may be available but not guaranteed from previous guests leaving them or on the whim of owner.
Four bedroom suites include upper level master suite with king bed and separate sitting area overlooking the serene river view and a luxurious spa bathroom with soaking tub as well as shower.
Another upper level bedroom has a queen bed and bath that can be shared or closed off for privacy.
Lower level has two bedroom suites, both with queen beds and private baths.
Full laundry room is also on the lower level as well as a giant family room with game table, TV, comfy seating . Take a book or leave a book in the small sharing library or play a board game or cards, or watch TV down here in the more casual lounging area.

KP Hole is just upstream a bit and Swampy’s gathering hole is a bit down river.
At the end of the day you can gather around the fire pit tucked under the oak and cypress trees and enjoy the sounds of nature and unwind. Make some s’mores or enjoy a cocktail after dinner out here, maybe even pitch a tent on the grass or a hammock by the river.
Please enjoy this beautiful property and the pristine river run but keep in mind that this property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on a cul-de-sac which will not accommodate loud or wild boisterous activities. Please also note that alcoholic beverages and disposable containers and food packaging are not allowed on the Rainbow River Run.
This home also is two levels requiring the use of stairs to both floors. We do like to encourage all to leave your shoes at the door and no smoking anywhere on property is a strict policy.
Also while enjoying the Rainbow River Run it is required that you use non-disposable containers for beverages and snacks while boating or tubing. This ensures that you will see virtually no trash or garbage in the river. How cool is that? We will provide some containers for your use and greatly appreciate it if they are used and left for future guests.

Summary: We had a great time with friends at Rainbow River! The house had plenty of space, large bedrooms, and lots of bathrooms (which definitely came in handy—lol!). It was well-stocked with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to kayaks and floats.The location was perfect, right on the river and about halfway between the head springs and Swampy’s restaurant . Our adult kids had a blast paddleboarding and kayaking. We launched our 17ft boat at KP and docked it at the house. In the mornings, we’d take the boat up to the head springs, put on the remote control trolling motor, and float back down—so relaxing!The adult kids would wake up early and drive over to Ellianos coffee, while the rest of us older adults headed out to the donut shop. Just an all-around great experience. The host was very responsive, and we’d definitely highly recommend this place to others!

Summary: This is a unique property. The house is well equipped and the room by room décor it worth spending time viewing. Each room is loaded with furnishings, rugs, pictures, figurines etc. Very well done. The site is on the water – the Rainbow River which is sparking clean and a peaceful place to sit n the morning and evening. It is rather entertaining to view the activity on the river during the day with floating rafts, paddle boards and other watercraft. The wildlife puts on a good show also with river otters, coumarins, blue herons, turtles, an occasional alligator as well as an assortment of other birds. There are kayaks and water blow-ups for use providing a great opportunity to float down the river and swimming in the cool water is delightful. Highly recommended by travelers who have used VRBO for 15 years – this is a top site.

Summary: The property was excellent. We had a wonderful time. The only thing that I did not enjoy was the remote for the television sometimes did not work and it was hard to search for things. May I recommend a remote with a microphone other than that the trip was absolutely wonderful. Can’t wait to stay there again next year!

Summary: We had an incredible stay at the river house on Rainbow Springs! The house was perfectly equipped with everything we needed for an unforgettable time on the water—kayaks, paddle boards, and floats, all available for our entire party. The location was absolutely serene, right on the river with stunning views of the uninhabited state park across the water. The tranquil setting made it the perfect getaway. Summary: Our group had a fantastic time during our stay. The house was big and spacious and the new dock right on the river was perfect for relaxing, fishing, docking your boat and jumping in to cool off. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to prepare our own meals. We hope to visit again soon.

Summary: Overall this was a great experience. The property owners were so responsive. This is one of the best spots on the river to jump in and swim. Some properties do not have the beautiful water right out back. Also it has so many bed options and spaces to hang out. We loved it and wished we had stayed longer.
