Summary: The best accommodation that we have ever stayed in, after touring Europe for over 25 years on motorcycles. The welcome package was enough to feed us for several days. The hosts Peter and Deborah do all they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Summary: After travelling all over France for the last twenty years staying in all kinds of cottages, farmhouses, village houses etc, I can easily say that Noisette Cottage was our best stay ever. The cottage was immaculate in every way and the hosts, Peter and Deborah were very friendly and helpful. Our welcome pack could have kept us fed for several days and after a couple of days lovely crusty French bread, croissants and pastries were added to keep us going. We were two motorcyclists and they made a small barn available to house our bikes overnight. I cannot praise Noisette Cottage high enough, of all the places that I have stayed in France over the years, this was the best and I would like to think that one day in the future I would like to return.

Summary: Noisette Cottage was a gem of a find. The Auvergne was,to us, an unknown area of France. It is now one of our favourite departments and Allier in particular. The setting, in a quiet little road, just out of the village, surrounded by open farmland and beautiful countryside was magical. The cottage is even better than our expectations. It is a compact, but not tiny, four roomed home with 2 large superbly appointed bedrooms each with it's own en-suite. Every room was comprehensively equipped and the compact kitchen had everything you could possibly need for your stay. This is certainly a cottage we will return to in the near future and the area has many places for us yet to discover. An ideal place for both families and couples with a large, well.maintained, attractive, safe garden. The whole experience was rounded off by the warm welcome from the resident owners who had very kindly supplied a lovely welcome basket of goodies.

Summary: We had the most amazing trip to the cottage. I can't say enough about the property and the hospitality of the owners. Everything was top notch. It was clean, very beautiful and quaint. The location is beautiful and very quiet. We can't say enough about this amazing cottage and are just waiting for the opportunity to come back!!!!

Summary: Peter and Deborah were excellent hosts, on hand for advice and recommendations about the local area, whilst also giving us space to enjoy our stay. The welcome basket was very generous, filled with typical French fare from the local area, a lovely surprise! The cottage is tastefully decorated with excellent facilities and we enjoyed many meals on the patio in the beautiful garden with views over the local countryside. The small village of Cindré does not have a boulangerie but there are plenty in neighbouring villages, a short drive away. We had a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful holiday and it was a pleasure to meet Peter and Deborah.

Summary: A very pretty cottage set in lovely gardens in a quiet rural setting, just up the road from a pretty village. Peter and Dawn are excellent hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. There was also a lovely welcome pack which was a great touch. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable, beautifully decorated, and with all the comforts of home. Can't wait to go back!

Summary: Noisette cottage is a delightful haven of piece and quiet in a lovely area of France. Pete and Deborah were superb hosts during our week's stay in May this year. The cottage is very comfortable and well provisioned with a very generous welcome pack to see you through the first day and some days after. We had our 3 year old grand- daughter with us and she loved the large safe garden, the young chicks, the inquisitive old hen and the friendly dog ,Bonnie. She "had a ball" and was so energetic she slept to 10:00 a.m. each day We would strongly recommend Noisette cottage to everyone. Ronnie & Rosie

Summary: Having just come from the congested and busy city of Nice and on our way to Paris this was a nice stop for a little rest and relaxation. Very nicely laid out and as described and even better. I have looked at all the reviews and this is why I choose the location so there is not much more that needs to be said other than that I agree with all the wonderful reviews and it is well deserved. There is so much to see in the surrounding area and this is the perfect place for a home base. A quiet secluded little village and very friendly hosts.

Summary: If you want a quiet, beautiful break in rural France you can do no better than this. On the outskirts of a very small village but within easy reach of local towns this well appointed gite is a delight. Deborah and Peter are excellent hosts, discrete and yet always available for advice and generous with home grown product and the most delicious eggs from the 'girls'!
