Hello,
First, I have to say that Ami is a very helpful and responsive host! Never had to wait long for a response and the responses were always friendly and detailed.
Second, the jacuzzi and the sauna and the beautiful view over the valley and to the mountain are absolutely the reason to go here. Awesome and so soothing and peaceful. Beautiful! We didn't have a chance to do any hiking unfortunately as we had to cut our trip short due to a family emergency, but hope to come again soon.
Also, my partner loved the Kombucha!

My husband and I had a great time for New Year at Ami's place. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need and it's in a perfect location where you can easily get to most trails and also in a walkable distance from town. The most memorable were the views of nature, such as mountains, trees with a variety of birds (red cardinals, ducks, tree sparrows and many others) as well as the hot tub from where you can either watch the birds, the stars or just enjoy the peacefulness.
As per the description, we were greeted with fresh oranges and a homemade kombucha, which is the best one we ever had.
Another highlight is the infrared sauna. After spending 2.5 days, we were recharged and we definitely would like to be back!

Such a peaceful and healing spot! Absolutely perfect for our girls reading retreat! We got in the hot tub just before sunset and completely lost track of time in the quiet and peace. could have spent several more days hitting the local restaurants and shops, soaking up more friendship and hot tub time. We had an absolutely incredible stay! The hot tub and sauna provided a magical experience, especially beneath the stunning Geminid meteor showers—a highlight we'll always cherish. From the moment we entered the studio, we were greeted by the soothing scent of lavender from the aroma diffuser, which really helped set a relaxing and healing mood. We enjoyed the unique touch of freshly squeezed orange juice and the delightful 'Calm Kombucha', locally made and absolutely refreshing. Beautiful stay! The hot tub and sauna were definitely the highlight, but the living space was just as great. We were surprised at how comfy and at-home we felt. Would definitely recommend for people who want a peaceful getaway.

We had such an enjoyable stay here after a week in NYC. The recommendation of the hike to Skytop was fantastic. And a lovely treat to come back to the hot tub and sauna which looked onto beautiful surroundings. The attention to detail in the property was perfect, from the binoculars for bird watching to the oranges for fresh juice in the morning! Would highly recommend staying here.

Ami was an incredible host! Very knowledgeable of the area and communicative. So many special touches were included that made this the best, most peaceful Abnb I’ve ever stayed at! Fresh squeezed orange juice, bikes for our use, and a special birthday cupcake being just a few :)

My partner and I wanted to have a short getaway to enjoy some peace and the beauty of Autumn in New York. We're very happy we got to stay here. As soon as we drove up to the driveway we felt comforted by the greenery of the front yard, and the view from the back porch was spectacular. The studio itself had a warmth we felt immediately upon entering. The lighting, the furniture, the scents, and the cleanliness was all so welcoming. Ami goes above and beyond with providing delicious kombucha, fruits for fresh juice, and plenty of other snacks. There are also free day passes to Mohonk Preserve, which is just a few minutes' drive away, and we enjoyed a beautiful hike there. The town of New Paltz was also very convenient for us to get the groceries we needed for our stay. We were able to meet Ami before checking out; he was friendly and warm, and we certainly wished we could have stayed for another day or two. We highly recommend Ami's place for anyone looking to stay in the area!

Ami’s Property is an Oasis. Everything is extremely clean and the entire experience was beyond relaxing. Accessing town by foot or bicycle was a breeze. The amenities were well thought out, Ami Really does think of everything. Any questions we had about check in or the property in general were always answered right away. Overall a Great host with a beautiful place to stay, highly recommend.

Ami’s place is incredible. The pictures does not do justice to how peaceful & clean this place is. It instantly gives you are serene feeling the minute you walk down the stairs. We have absolutely great weekend at Ami’s place . Amazing mountain views . Pure nature with a lot of plants , flowers , birds . Nice hot tub and sauna ! There are wall/bike trail 100feet from place and river with kayak rental . Everything in apartment very clean and comfortable. Ami left some oranges to make fresh juice , give is self made kombucha, farm chocolate . Ami is great host , he refreshed hot tub on the morning , cleaned up bbq grill . It was amazing ! It’s the best stay in NY that we ever had ! Thank you !

An excellent location in New Paltz for this spacious, quiet, and private studio apt with full kitchen and bath within a private home. One super-comfortable queen-sized bed and one twin bed with a comfy organic latex mattress.
Only Young Living products (pure, plant based, no harsh chemicals) are used to keep the apartment clean, and we supply the same for bath soap, shampoo, and dish soap. It's an easy and pleasurable one mile stroll to downtown New Paltz on country road or rail trail.
If you’re traveling from NYC without a car, you can take the Adirondack Trailways bus to New Paltz from the Port Authority Terminal. Once in New Paltz you can either walk (about 1 mile) or take taxi ($5) to the house.
The Water Street Market and the rest of New Paltz cafes, shops, and organic vegetable farms are a 20-30 minute walk and even faster bike ride from this spacious and peaceful apartment on a most desirable country road frequented by walkers, joggers, and cyclists.
By car, you will be 5-15 minutes from the Mohonk Preserve, Mohonk Mountain House, and Minnewaska State Park.
But leave the car behind as you bicycle (bikes available for your use) the Walkill Valley Rail Trail north to the quaint village of Rosendale, south to the bucolic village of Gardiner, or head west to the Mohonk Preserve bicycle and walking paths.
Return home to rest on the patio or soak in the awesome hot tub with its inspirational wooded mountain views and perpetually singing wild birds, or have a nice sweat in the infrared sauna.
This is a perfect place to unwind, relax and use as a base for all your Hudson Valley adventures!

Other things to note:
There’s a cat on the premises and spends much of his time outside; he hardly ever spends time in this rental space and cannot access it without someone opening the door for him. Folks with medium to mild cat allergies have stayed here with no problems!
Summertime: The property is well-shaded and this studio is often quite naturally cool in the summer. However, there’s A/C for those dog days!
