Summary: Host was welcoming and extremely attentive and amenities were in good condition. I wish I had known beforehand that the location is on a busy highway, the yard is not fenced in, and the septic tank is sensitive, but otherwise it was a lovely getaway. I would recommend it if you're looking for a spacious, beautiful place in the area.

Summary: We loved everything about this sweet place. The yard and garden is so serene and peaceful. And the house is as cute as it could be. The location worked well for side trips to Abiquiú, the local wineries were fun visits, and all of the locals were friendly and warm. Highly recommend.

Summary: The property is amazing. So many plants and trees to attract birds and butterflies. The river literally is right in the backyard. Very beautiful. The house and kitchen are roomy and well appointed. Check in simple. The owners are friendly and responsive. Would definitely love to return.

Summary: The backyard was amazing and made the stay here worth it just by itself! Lots of seating right along the river and a picnic table. The flowers and grass were well maintained. The inside of the house had everything we needed for our 2-day stay. The only thing I’ll say is there is no cell service there but they did have WiFi that worked great. Overall we would definitely recommend!

Summary: This property has a ton of potential. The backyard was a bit overgrown and there were bugs all over one of the outdoor chairs, but there is a picnic table out there, which we made good use of while my son-in-law was fishing. Note that there is not a washer and dryer, so bring enough clothes for your entire stay unless you want to spend your time going to a laundromat. A Keurig machine would be a great addition! Bring your ground coffee.None of that was a game changer. We still had a great time and really enjoyed the sunroom, the river and the views!

Summary: Property was just as described. Clean and well stocked. River in back yard is great and so peaceful. Only complaint is that there is futon beds which is great but no extra blankets at least we couldnt find any would be nice to include some. They do warn about a sensitive well system which is great but sensitive does mean sensitive we got a short shower and a small load of dishes and we were out of water for a bit. There is separate drinking water but just keep that in mind if long showers are a must. Plenty of heaters to keep house warm in the cold winter. We will stay again when in the area, really loved access to the river.

Summary: Fully stocked home with kitchen essentials for cooking or grilling. Cabinet full of board games, updated cooling units throughout the home. My teenager fly fishing from the back yard while my husband grills are memories unmatched. We always visit Pilar for fishing, Velarde for roadside fruit stands, wineries, gas museum, Taos, the gorge, and so much more. It’s an understated residence that is rustic and water conservation awareness lends to a greater experience.
