Positive: JUST WOW.!! The property is exactly as described, super clean, super comfortable, hot tub was amazing and Claire was an amazing host! There was snow on the ground the night before we were due to arrive and Claire very nicely asked us if we wanted to change to a different date as the roads were so bad but we went ahead and we were so glad we did! Ballyhaunis town was 12 mins away, closer than castlerea and we had a nice Chinese take away for anyone in the future staying in this property! The peace and tranquility is such a win and under 2hrs from Dublin it was perfect for our family reunion. Thank you Claire, we will 100% be back and we can honestly recommend anyone looking for a lovely house away from the world, book this house!! Keith

Positive: Errit House has everything you need for a relaxing country break. The location is beautiful. You don't need to bring anything. Fabulous Irish made products in the bathrooms. Lots of kitchenware and glassware and kitchen tools. Cleaning products etc. all provided. The key collection set up is perfect, so convenient. Games provided, they were a great hit even for our party of adults. The hot-tub is clean clean clean and is a lovely set-up particularly at night time. Claire provided robes and slippers for use with the hot-tub, a beautiful touch. The house itself is modern yet has a slight quirkiness that gives it a different feel to other houses. We were a family party of 11, there were plenty of places for people to take time out on their own, inside or out, yet enough room that we could all be together in the kitchen without it feeling crowded. Claire was very helpful at all times and responded to any messages very quickly. I would highly recommend Errit house for a country break.

Positive: Beautiful house on the hill with beautiful views of the countryside. The house was spotless, & big enough to meet our needs (8ppl). Hot tub is a fantastic addition & much enjoyed. Easy to use & host even sent video of how to use the tub. Dressing gown & slippers left for each of us, a nice touch of luxury & for use with the hot tub. We only stayed the weekend but the house would be perfect for a longer stay. Facilities excellent. Turf from the bog in basket & kindling to light a gorgeous fire. The hosts were very responsive when we needed them. Pre trip they provided us with great information about places, restaurants in the area. The old Stone House restaurant in Ballinlough a must visit, food & staff gorgeous. Would highly recommend this house for a relaxing , enjoyable stay! 😊

Negative: Bunk bed frames quite noisy when turning in the bed. There is no downstairs toilet except for an ensuite in someone's room. The house is not advertised as wheelchair accessible so if you require wheelchair access, this house would not meet your needs. A car is a must to get food supplies from shop.
