Make “Seashell Cottage” your own beach retreat getaway! “Seashell Cottage” is a spacious relaxing three-story home with an expansive wrap around porch that faces our historic little, but lively town of Cape Charles & is steps from the soft-sand beach.
With 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths, there’s space to comfortably accommodate 11 people. “Seashell Cottages’” first floor offers two family rooms where you can unwind while reading a good book, playing board games with your loved ones or watching a movie! The well-equipped kitchen and dining area have an open layout to accommodate everyone's needs, with laundry and half bath. You also have porch access from the kitchen & dining room.
The second story has the master bedroom, which offers a queen-sized bed with a personal den. The master bath has two vanity sinks, an oversized bathtub and separate shower. The two other 2nd story bedrooms have queen size beds with sliding glass doors that take you out to the balcony to enjoy the views & the glorious sunsets overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. There is also a full bathroom for convenience.

Summary: Nice house with a great location from the beach. Easy to get small children to and from the beach yet still a short walk to town. We had trouble when an air conditioning unit went down but the agents had it fixed the next day.

Summary: This is a great location with wonderful views of the water from the kitchen window and two of the upstairs bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and they have beach chairs, boards and floaties to use at the beach. The beds are very comfortable. Have stayed here 3 or 4 times.

Summary: We.have rented properties for 40 years. We chose this property because the bedroom configuration and location were great. I gave this property a 3 star because of the lack of cleanliness. The property needs to be deep cleaned and decluttered. There was also a strong musty smell in the kitchen especially inside cabinets. This could easily be a 5 star rating if the property had some TLC.

Summary: One block from the beach was wonderful for the grandchildren and adults. We could go and set up tents and the kids stayed at the beach the entire day and would go back after dinner. Great location and really nice house.
