This restored farm house has been in the family since it was built in 1918. The location offers spectacular views and areas to hike. In addition to the beautiful gardens accented with antique farm equipment, you will enjoy the large open yard (perfect for yard games), the large shade trees, and the wrap-around porch. When is the last time you sat and watched the sun set?
Inside, you will feel right at home with the antique furnishings, a country eat-in kitchen with fireplace, and a large dining room and living room also a fireplace. There is enough room and privacy for at least eight guest to stay, even more for dinner! And, of course, we have added all the modern conveniences for your comfort. Summary: We’ve stayed at the Bald Knob Farmhouse many times and love it every time. It’s so peaceful and homey and we enjoy just hanging out and spending some quiet time there. Clara is wonderful to work with and we hope to continue visiting many more times in the future.

Summary: My family of 6 had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! There was plenty of room for all of us. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. If we are back in town at another time we would love to stay there again!

Summary: This was the second time my family has stayed here. We thoroughly enjoyed it again. It’s a charming old but well maintained farmhouse with a comfortable wrap-around porch in a quiet, remote location. The main street of the small town of Sparta is about 15 minutes away. Highly recommend

Summary: We had a great time. The home and grounds are beautiful and give you a nostalgic longing for days gone by. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay. The strawberry rhubarb jam was delicious. Sorry we didn’t get to leave Wendell the whistling whistle pig any jam. 😉
