Positive: This little cabin has everything you need. The location was exceptionally beautiful and relaxing. My only regret was that we didn't have more days to spend there.

Negative: There was nothing to not love about this place in my opinion.

Positive: Cabin was super clean, cozy, remote and private. Big thank you to the owner for switching our dates due to work conflicts. He was very accommodating.

Negative: The property was very overgrown in front of the cabin and down to the river. The cabin is riverfront but it’s a dangerous walk to get to the river because of the overgrowth. We were very saddened by this and only walked to the river one time during our entire stay. The only other complaint we had was the dishes need to be thrown out. It would be better advertised as no dishes so we could bring things versus having broken or kitchenware that appeared to have many years of use.

Positive: Very quiet and peaceful location. Loved the front porch for breakfast and dinner in, and especially enjoyed the swing beside the river!

Negative: The driveway was difficult to ascend in my vehicle due to the steep grade and loose sand and gravel at the top.

Summary: This cabin is perfect for a short trip to explore the cute town of Sparta and the surrounding wineries, Blue Ridge Parkw

Positive: We loved that it was right off the river and the cabin had everything thing we needed. It was the perfect location for what we had plan.

Negative: Wish the pathway to the river was more clear, but like my husband said it could be because they didn't want to mess with nature. I also didn't like how the drive way was gravel I had to let my husband drive up the hill 😅

Positive: We wanted a secluded, quiet cabin in nature. This was perfect ... plus had proximity to the Little River and its lovely swing right on its banks! Marc was kind and responsive ~ sending someone with coffee, as the cleaning staff had forgotten to leave it. The town of Sparta and its people were friendly with many sweet shops to check out. Stone Mountain State Park was also an awesome discovery!

Negative: At 75, we found the bed to be uncomfortably low for easy getting in and out of. The directions for finding the cabin could be more detailed, as the GPS said we'd arrived when it was further to go. I'd suggest adding a line to say ~ after passing the Hidden Valley Drive sign, keep driving straight (past several other street signs) ~ going down, down a hill until you see a split-rail fence. This is where you turn right for the cabin entrance. Ignore "private driveway" signs!
