Cottage has been updated in 2026 and features open floor plan, hardwood floors throughout, gas starter fireplace, screened porch with uninterrupted views of lake, adjacent deck, fully equipped kitchen (coffee maker, Kurig, microwave, toaster oven and chef’s utensils available), fresh interior paint, w/d in hall, private master with new bath featuring large walk-in shower,gorgeous interior with loads of charm, charcoal grill,outdoor fire pit, private lighted dock- ideal for fishing, swimming and docking boat during your stay. Flip flops and groceries are all you need for an enjoyable get away.
We require a 2 night minimum stay and offer special event pricing rates for Talladega Motor Speedway race, holidays, and short term leases. Our home is a 10-12 minute drive to speedway. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Birmingham/ airport and 18 minutes from Pell City and an easy drive to Pinhoti Trail system. River’s Edge Marina and Poorhouse Branch Marina offer boat rentals or you may launch yours nearby and dock at the cottage during your stay.

Summary: The Stay was over all nice except for when the electricity went out and was cut back on the next morning overall everything was fine !

Summary: This lake cottage is ADORABLE! We surprised our son for his birthday tickets to Talladega and found this little gem! 15 mins from the track! So relaxing on the screened in porch and we were able to sit and talk, something that we just don’t get to do back home! Owners were very friendly! Thank you again for opening your home up to us!

Summary: The property is very secluded. Quiet and comfortable, we all appreciated the time there. We had one of our best vacations to just unplug and unwind. From pre arrival to returning security deposit Susie was always available if we had questions. We will be returning.
