Positive: Relais Villa Ottavia is absolutely wonderful. The hosts Anita and Alessio were so kind and welcoming, they really made us feel at home. Great location to visite the puglia region, Anita gave us all the nice towns to visite and great places to eat! The pool was superb, and we enjoyed it so much during our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would love to come back!"

Positive: We stayed for one night and overall had a very good experience. The room was comfortable, quiet, and provided a relaxing environment with a pleasant view of the pool, ideal after a long day of travel.

Negative: For future improvement, I would recommend adding an in-room kettle for tea or a coffee machine. Even if offered as a paid amenity, this would be a valuable addition for business travelers who often work late or start early.

Positive: The owners are very very nice and accommodating. I stayed here because it was my last two days of my trip and was 15 minutes to the airport. The room was very modern and the bathroom was very elegant, all beautiful marble including the shower.

Negative: The only issue is that the Relais is right off a busy road so you heard traffic all the time.

Summary: It was a lovely end to my trip.

Very relaxing place, very well maintained and very clean. The highlight is the garden area and beautiful swimming pool. The rooms are light and spacious. Excellent place to stay.

Great location for getting around the area, facilities excellent, pool and garden area gorgeous, rooms perfect sleek, clean and brand new, cleanest hotel ever stayed in, and the hosts Anita and Alessio were the best hosts I have ever experienced, they were outstanding and could not do enough to help. We had restaurant recommendations, reservations made for us, Anita gave us cherries from her father’s orchard, figs, and their own home made olive oil. I cannot praise them enough, they really look after their guests. They even made us coffee on the house while we waited to leave on our departure day. We have stayed in many hotels over the years and the thing that always distinguishes one from another is the service. This is what makes the difference here and is why we would highly recommend it!!! Positive: If you need a hotel near Bari airport, we could not recommend the Relais Villa Ottvia hotel more highly. The facility is 15 minutes from the airport and immaculate having only recently been built. The service provided by Anita and Alex was immensely helpful and efficient, they could not be better hosts. We arrived in the middle of the afternoon to the most wonderful poolside setting. We swam, used the jacuzzi and sat in the sun (amble number of comfortable sun beds and umbrellas) for a wonderful and relaxing afternoon. When the sun went in, we left the idyllic pool side and drove 10 mins to the charming seaside town of Giovinazzo and had a fantastic meal with a fantastic water front view of the sea. This hotel is an oasis of comfort and relaxation before or after your exploration of the Puglia region – very highly recommended and arrived home more relaxed than ever!

Negative: BEWARE the speed bumps on the slip road off the SP88 that you take to get to the hotel going towards Bitonto. They're nothing to do with the hotel but presumably put there by other residents.

Summary: A really excellent hotel, ideally placed for Bari airport, only 15 minutes away.
