Positive: One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in --- stunning facility and stunning views. The hosts were equally amazing - Giovanna even took us on a short excursion to Brugnello ; and she and Paolo were consummate hosts, including making dinner reservations and helping us when we had a slight emergency.

Positive: It’s an Agriturismo so it’s a little off the beaten path at the end of an unpaved road, but totally navigable even on a motorcycle which I was on. The facility is absolutely magnificent and the woman who owns it designed it and she could be an architect and a designer. The view is astounding. Out your bedroom window and the veranda you see mountain sides that look like a painting Cezanne.

Negative: The restaurant was closed. This is the second Agriturismo. I stayed in in which the restaurant was closed, which was a disappointment, but the owner has supplied me with a bowl of fruit.

Positive: Beautiful scenery, quiet surroundings, with a chance to walk across the nearby Roman bridge “Ponte Gobbo” aka “Devil’s Bridge” into the heart of the beautiful little medieval town of Bobbio. The proprietors are delightful people who look after their guests with generosity and kindness. And, impotent, the food was overwhelming abundant and delicious

Positive: Everything! Giovanna and Paolo were extremely welcoming. By the end of our stay we felt like old friends. The bedrooms, homemade breakfasts, grounds and views from the grounds were all fantastic. It was also a short walk to the village of Bobbio.
