Summary: Betty is a wonderful host who made us feel welcome with homemade banana bread. The apartment is perfect for two and is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of several restaurants. If we return to the area, we will book here again.

Summary: Quirky, comfortable, close to restaurants. Be aware that there's not actually a kitchen (get water from bathroom) but there are multiple ways to make coffee tea etc. Fridge is great. Lovely welcome note and home made nut bread.

Summary: All of Betty's rentals are nice whether it's the Garden Oasis or the Garden Bungalow. Her descriptions and pictures are accurate and if you have any questions just contact her and you will get a quick response. We stayed over Thanksgiving week and everything was nice. This was our second time at her Alameda apt. Hope to stay next year!

Summary: Spacious, comfortable place with easy off street parking. Short walk to a large park which extends to the bay with San Francisco views. Quiet so good sleeping, comfortable bed.

Summary: We selected this property for its convenience to family and were so glad we did. Everything was as expected based on the property description and prior reviews. We liked having a separate bedroom and a spacious living/work space. The garden was a lovely place to relax and read. The quiet neighborhood was also welcome for me as a light sleeper. We also took advantage almost every day of the close proximity to the walking path along the Bay.

Summary: I really enjoyed my stay at this place. It had everything I needed with many little surprises from the host. The garden is gorgeous and the place is conveniently located with its own parking. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We have stayed in several places during our years of visiting family in Alameda. This was by far the best, most comfortable and most convenient. The bed was great, there was plenty of dresser and closet space, the bathroom was roomy. There was a grab bar in the tub/shower which worked perfectly for us old folks. There is no kitchen, but the refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and coffee pot was all we needed. The backyard was a beautiful place to sit and read a book. In and out was easy. Even parking was easy. And even WE could walk to several restaurants, markets and donut shops.
