Positive: Absolutely amazing stay – highly recommended! We had a fantastic experience at this hotel in Thulusdhoo. The view is absolutely stunning, and the hospitality was outstanding from the moment we arrived. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive – truly exceptional service in every detail. The food was honestly one of the best we had on the island. We even noticed that guests from other hotels would come here just to eat – and for good reason! We had read some mixed reviews about the breakfast on Booking, but we were pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was excellent every single day: fresh fruits, different types of bread, local dishes, cakes, coffee, tea, juice, and eggs made to order – you could choose exactly how you wanted them. What also stood out was how helpful the staff were with everything. They offered to take us anywhere on the island, at any time, and helped us arrange boat transfers to other islands, book massages, recommend restaurants and local activities. From housekeeping to room service to the restaurant staff – everyone was friendly, warm, and genuinely committed to making our stay perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re planning to stay in Thulusdhoo! Special thanks to Chamila, who went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. He helped us so much with transportation and scheduling, and truly made sure we had a unique and seamless experience. We are very grateful!

Positive: Overall okay, however there are some easy imporvments that would make the experience much better: 1- improve Custumer service at reception, the operation manager was unfriendly and unhelpful 2- building maintenance: they acknowledged major issues in the room (curtain barre fell down) but no one took the initiative of fixing it 3- quality of breakfast was not up to the most basic standards. Eg. disgusting « Nescafé » coffee burnt every day, the staff had no interest in improving it. Cold and unhealthy food With a little care, this hotel could be a nice average standard accommodation

Positive: Great staff; great location; great view from room terrace. We really enjoyed the excursions which were offered from the hotel, very helpful reception and staff. You can get beach towels from hotel, and buggy tour around the island for free. They will also pick you up&drop by the speedboat on arrival/departure for free. Overall facilities were okay, very good for the price. We walked around the island a lot and saw many other guest houses, those looked very sad. So Reef EDGE is definetly one of the top 3 mini hotels on this island :) We havent had breakfast as it was not really our menu, and its fine.

Negative: What could be improved: bed and mattress are very very soft and like with holes in the middle (because those are old or used a lot), I had lower back pain every morning. Secondly, as humidity level is high, pillows and blanket are having mold/humidity bad smell.

Positive: Comfortable beds with daily housekeeping. Possibility to lend out snorkel gear, bikes, floaties etc. Close proximity to bikini beach, about 3 minutes walking. Attentive staff, carried our luggage up the stairs for us! Pick-Up and drop-off from harbor. Small seating area in front of room with decent views. Welcome drinks and they can book excursions for you.

Negative: Breakfast wasn't great to be honest, it's nice that it was included but we didn't think much of it. On our last day there was slightly brown and dirty water coming from the tap when we turned it fully to the right. I celebrated my birthday here and let them know about that in advance but they didn't do anything regarding that - not that I expected that! It's just I wouldn't recommend coming here if you plan on having a nice birthday getaway.

Positive: A good location overlooking the sea and 3 minutes from bikini beach. Breakfast was simple and adequate enough to make one happy. Staff were very helpful and thank you to Sharoof, Shariff and Kavitha and others for making our stay very pleasant . Within 200 metres, many restaurants too so we have many options for food.

Negative: nothing not to like - just that a beach front area for sun bathing would be perfect as need to go nearby bikini beach for that.

Positive: - location was very good, very close to the beach - staff very helpful and supportive - transport to and from the hotel went smoothly - bikes and snorkling gear available without costs - breakfast was fairly good, would like to see some more variation - room was clean - price / quality was good

Negative: - breakfast was too simple and could have some more options. They have a lot of sweet items and standard meat options that do not vary and little ‘fresh’ options. - I found the bed (mattress) to be too soft, resulting in back ache. My wife did not have this. - the manager did not do anything for our honeymoon while having asked for this twice
