Positive: Great location, lovely suite, nicely decorated. Very clean. The pour over coffee maker was missing a filter, but luckily one was delivered that afternoon, so I had coffee the next morning. Staff are responsive and helpful.

Negative: The one exception when it came to cleanliness was the coffee maker, which had been put away with coffee still in it. There was nowhere in either room to hang clothes. At least a coat hook would be nice, in order to hang a few items.

Positive: Beautiful house, great location and very responsive host! Loved the kitchen, shower and bedroom.

Negative: Unfortunately the hot tub was not warm enough to use. Wish we had discovered that the first night - went to use it on the second night and found it barely lukewarm, but by then there wasn't time to contact the host about it. Booking.com charged us a pet fee (built it to the price) and we didn't have a pet. It was difficult to contact the host through Booking.com but finally found the best link and reached them about it. The host responded immediately with apologies and refunded the fee. They said they will contact Booking about it. It was not a issue, with the host being so responsive.

Summary: Great stay! We will come again!

Positive: Very convenient location. A bit of street noise during the day, but things definitely quiet down at night. The upstairs suite (Red McCall) is cute and comfortable. We felt safe. AC was a godsend.

Negative: Cooking facilities are minimal. There is a small micro/convection oven. A plug-in single burner cooktop was provided.

Summary: Cute suite in restored Victorian house; great location for exploring Ashland.

Positive: The front porch with its comfortable chairs was an oasis. We did share with another couple in a separate unit. It was handy to have an unexpectedly good restaurant next door for one evening; likewise, having the Safeway a block away was convenient. This location was a ten-minute walk from downtown Ashland, easily accessible for the theatre; we also recommend Ashland ArtWorks, another nice stroll through a lovely neighborhood of period homes of Victorian or bungalow style. The fire department was next door, too, but largely a quiet neighborhood. The hosts were regularly in contact via text to check in. It was also convenient to have a door code rather than a set of keys. Overall, this was an excellent choice for us.

Negative: Overall, these are minor. We would have appreciated recycling containers or instructions on where we could take recycling. In smaller bedrooms, it would be sufficient to have a bed that's not huge so there is more walk-around space. The table and chairs for dining would be easy to move if the sofa sleeper were used, but for our purposes, more sturdy furniture would have been appreciated.

Summary: Comfortable convenient location with good facilities for self-catering in a charming neighborhood.
