Positive: The site and accommodation is lovely and clean. As you walk around the place is immaculate and very well kept. All the staff we spoke with were so nice and friendly and gave us plenty of information. It's only 15 minutes to Kirkintilloch so very handy for us meeting up with friends and family. Will defo be coming back on a yearly basis.

Negative: We stayed in Isle chalet and found all the beds quite uncomfortable. Me and my husband personally found them to be too hard n which gave us a broken sleep and gave us bother with our backs. The chalet is at the back by some trees so it lacked a bit of brightness (I understand that cant be helped) it could also be doing with a few little comforts I.E side tables in in the double room and hangers on backs of the door. This is just our personal preference as we stayed here last year in a different chalet and we much preferred that one.

Positive: Location was ok for where we needed to be , it was safe

Negative: We didn't see any member of staff or spoke with anyone , the chalet was very basic and wasn't worth the amount we paid , and the beds were uncomfortable, also there were still fag buts outside and we don't want them to think it was us ,

Positive: The location and the village themselves were great. The holiday village is quiet, well located, and very pleasant. About a 10/15 minute walk to the train station, 20 minute train ride to Glasgow. There is also a Coop (supermarket) about 15 minutes away. Communication with the staff was great and they were very helpful when it came to paying the deposit, sending directions etc The static caravan/holiday home was very nice overall and a great base for exploring around. A big living-room for everyone to sit around together. The house is warm and comfortable. We were very happy with the quality of accommodation, the location, the quality in communication, especially for the price we paid.

Negative: Not that we didn't like it, just a few things to keep in mind! The beds are small - they're camping beds. But the linen/duvets were warm and clean. Perfect for kids but if you are 6" like me then you'll find it a bit tiny! We knew towels weren't included and brought our own but didn't understand there would be other things not included such as: toilet paper, soap, hand soap etc - luckily it's a quick trip to the shop to sort it out. The free (!) WiFi was quite poor in the evening, I assume because a lot of people were using it, so if you are planning on doing online work or anything like that I would recommend being able to hotspot yourself and wouldn't rely on the free WiFi entirely.
