Positive: Beds were very comfy. Fireplace was great for the evenings and the bedrooms had good heating. Shower in main bathroom was fantastic. Kitchen was a good size and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Breakfast was good. Garage/driveway also good size and fit 2 cars easily. About a 10minute walk into the main street.

Negative: Lighting could be better. 2nd bathroom/laundry was very small/cramped and nowhere to put toiletry bags.

Summary: Clean, comfortable and well equipped country style home

Positive: Excellent location. And great breakfast 😋. Very clean. I would recommend the retreat, and I would stay again myself. Plenty off room.

Negative: I only booked a 4 bedroom not 5. The toilet roll holder was broken in the bathroom, so that needs to be fixed. Some off The beds were abit hard. 🙄
