Positive: This home was the perfect spot for a trip with a couple from our family. The house was spotless, well stocked and had comfortable beds and linens. The location was quiet and private, close to state parks as well as East Sound. Such a good value for the price!

Negative: We loved everything! If your group is larger than 4, note that the primary bedroom exits into another before continuing into the rest of the house. However the primary also connects to the house via the outside deck if needed for privacy.

Positive: We greatly enjoyed our stay! Two complete bathrooms, three bedrooms, a lovely kitchen with nice appliances (microwave, fridge, range, coffee pot, keurig, toaster, dishwasher, and some salt, pepper, oil, sugars, creamer, tea assortment and coffee) and fantastic laundry with an iron and ironing board(needed since we were in the area for a wedding). The only stairs were to the front door but the home is fully accessible via the deck without any stairs which was a huge plus since we were traveling with an elderly couple who struggle with stairs. The couches were comfortable, TV worked great, wifi was strong and a nice size dining table all 6 of us could sit around and enjoy a meal. The location was amazing for us as the wedding we were involved in was at the Camp Moran Environmental Center (only about 7-8minutes away... just over 2 miles).

Negative: The bed in the walk through bedroom squeaks really loudly any time one person shifts their weight or rolls over. It would also have been nice to have a screen door on the sliding door in that walk through bedroom so we could open it for ventilation without letting bugs into the room. Could use a few more drinking glasses(for water or juice) and more coffee/tea mugs as we (6 people) were frequently having to wash some...but this is me being super picky.

Negative: Some of the dishes were not clean Garbage on the deck No instructions for fire places Rooms were great Bathrooms clean Master bath toiletseat needs repair All the controls for the heat were confusing of what system it controls The one labeled fireplace did nothing One of the tvs in bedroom.2 no remote

Summary: Liked it if I were to come back to orcas island I would stay again.

Positive: Raven Tree house was wonderful. Covered with trees and relaxing. Overall house was great, everything was there, that you will need for your stay. House was clean and kitchen was fully stocked with different kinds of oils, spices , pots and pans. We really enjoyed cooking our meals in the kitchen. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Outside porch area faces towards trees that makes your morning or late evening so relaxing. Everything was close by, all the good restaurants, famous orca’s pottery, local shops to walk around were just 5 to 10 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this place.

Negative: Had to go through 1 bedroom to get to another. Restricted to 7 guests overnight and max during the day so difficult to have visitors.
