This home also runs along the Belmont-Ferry Farm Trail—Enjoy a two-mile hike, bike, or jog through three public parks in Stafford County!
Scenic beauty surrounds you as you following this winding path through the Historic Port of Falmouth.
The path is fully paved and provides scenic stops along the way. Trail entrances are located on River Road at John Lee Pratt Park and Historic Port of Falmouth Park and on Butler Road at St. Clair Brooks Memorial Park. The YMCA water park can also be accessed by the trail. Or hop in the car for a 3 minute drive!
There are also many historical sites nearby. A quick 4 minute drive across the Falmouth- Rappahanock River bridge and you’ll be in historic downtown Fredericksburg! Summary: The location is outstanding, across the street from the river, and if your are a fly fisherman it’s nervana. We were able to fish early and late in the day, with great success.

Summary: Although the house is small, it easily managed our party of six! The location is beautiful and very close to downtown Fredericksburg and many fun activities. Would highly recommend and we will consider this property in the future!

Summary: We were in Fredericksburg for our granddaughter's wedding. There were lots of activities leading up and after the wedding. This cottage was the perfect place for us, the older ones to escape and enjoy some much-needed rest and relaxation. Everything was perfect. I would recommend this river cottage to anyone young or old.

Summary: The location of this listing is perfect. You're right across a street from the Rappahannock River, and the property is great for kids. Very well maintained, and fun to stay at. Would stay there again

Summary: Our family stayed at this sweet little cottage while in the area for a few days. It was clean and had everything you'd need as far as kitchen utensils, etc. There was even a well stocked shelf of toys and games for the kids. It was conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and the kids enjoyed walking across the street to the river in the evenings. Although we didn't use it, the fire pit was a really nice option outside. Check in and check out was very easy and the property managers number was handy although we didnt need to use it. This was a great spot to stay!

Summary: We absolutely loved the cottage. The location was amazing and the cottage was just lovely. Patti does a great of job of supplying all the little extras you may need to make your stay perfect. There is plenty to do literally right across the street from the river. Summary: One of the best places I've ever stayed in terms of a BnB. Incredible amenities, extremely quiet, comfortable and accommodating. LOVED the backyard area and just overall one of the BEST places to stay. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone passing through Fredericksburg or wanting a sanctuary to unwind the brain and soul.
