This is not just a place to sleep; it's a truly warm, welcoming family home. The hosts treat you like a relative, not a guest. From fresh homemade breakfast (loved the vegan and Asian options) to sitting with them in the garden in the evening – everything felt personal and genuine. The villa itself is peaceful, spotless, and well-equipped: good WiFi, comfy lounge, shared kitchen, even a fitness corner and spa facilities. Free parking and airport shuttle made logistics easy. What really surprised me: how convenient this location is for traveling around Sri Lanka. Kegalle is well-connected, so I could easily visit Kandy, Pinnawala (elephant orphanage), and even Colombo without long, tiring drives. If you're looking for an authentic, caring, and relaxing homestay as a base to explore the island – book this place. I already miss the family and the garden views.
