Positive: Good Location in central Thamel. Comfy Bed. The Balcony in the Family Room at the 5th Floor. Friendly and helpful Owner and Family.

Negative: There is no Shower Head. Overall cleanliness should be improved. Many Steps up and down. Breakfast is just basic.

Positive: Location within walking distance to sightseeing, great staff, facilities are simple and old but kept clean for a dome room. There are no partition curtains, but each person has their own outlet so there is no problem charging batteries. Bathroom is spacious, toilet paper is provided, and hot shower is also available. Breakfast is orthodox with sliced bread, omelette, jam, butter and banana, but the local butter and freshly made local milk tea were excellent. The owner's family is often in another hotel, but they are very kind, so I would like to use it again. (There is a rooftop, but it is all stairs so be careful if you have large luggage or are elderly, but the staff will help you when checking in.)

Negative: Nothing really. Value for money.

Positive: We had a really nice stay at Rambler hostel. Shalik and his wife are really kind hosts and always there to help or answer your questions. The shower is very good (hot water, good pressure) and the bed is super comfortable. Very good, central location. We would definitely stay here again!
