Summary: This hotel is older and it shows. It's fairly convenient to the Uncruise dock, which was why we stayed here. However, my reservation apparently stated that I wanted a first floor room (I don't remember requesting that). We had to walk down a flight of stairs from the lobby to our room, which was basically in the basement. Worse yet, our window looked directly into a parking garage. We had to keep the curtain closed the entire time or risk people looking right into our room. This made the room dark and added to the basement/dungeon feel. We stayed out of the room as much as possible. On the plus side, the room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. And the staff allowed us to check in a couple hours early. Maybe a room on another level would have felt more welcoming.

Summary: The hotel is in a nice location. Easy hiking path access. The breakfast was delicious. I gave 3 stars because our initial room was in the basement and had a wet mold smell. Be sure you are not booking a ground level room.

Summary: I can say that I’d stay here again. By far my best hotel experience in my life. I’ve stayed in top of the line 4 and 5 star hotels but what I loved the most here were the beds, towels and above all the restaurant. In the five days I was there every meal was delicious and the quality of the food preparation and cooking was excellent. The only thing better than what I’ve explained was the employees. Summary: The beds are so comfy. I enjoyed the accessibility to shopping, downtown, restaurants and the waterfront boardwalk. The staff are very accommodating and considerate. Would recommend to friends and family and stay again!

Summary: I paid $355+ to stay one night. Relatively inexpensive for Juneau I guess. But: 1. There was NO hot water….seriously. 2. I could get 3 channels on the TV 3. The facility is old and shows its age. The bed was comfortable at least. Even the cheapest motel has hot running water!
