Positive: convenient location near the train station and easy access to the city center

Negative: It appears that the hotel’s management practices could benefit from improvement. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room that had not been properly cleaned, and it took a couple of reminders before the issue was resolved. The following day, no housekeeping service was provided, and I was told at reception that it needed to be requested in advance. As this is not standard procedure in most hotels, guests should be clearly informed if such a policy is in place. Considering that this property is part of a corporate chain, the experience was disappointing.

Positive: Hotel room itself was very comfortable and clean, and staff were notably friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast and good without being special or massive choice. Location for Graz Main Railway station is really good, just across the road from the main entrance, and walk into city centre is a straightforward 20 min walk down the road that the hotel is located on.

Negative: Didn't see it highlighted when booking (maybe I missed it), but hotel describes itself as a "Green Hotel" and advises that room cleaning is only done every 3 days or on request, or something to that effect. What this means in practice, for me anyway, was that room towels weren't changed or the beds weren't made up, which I wouldn't have expected from a hotel that sees itself as a high quality product. In other hotels with similar "Green" policies, the towels were changed and the beds made up, whatever about the wider house-cleaning. For me, this turns the Graz Radisson from a 8 or 9 rating to a lower one, as wasn't really very happy coming back to the room after a whole day out to discover it was exactly as I'd left it.

Summary: Very comfortable hotel with great location for Graz main railway station, but with one major niggle.

Positive: Very good bed! Good breakfast! Very good location while traveling with train.

Negative: I might reconsider about the curtains which looked very plastic-like. The overall feel of the room was pricey but curtains did not match.
