Summary: The rooms were super quiet, even though it was above a busy street. The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean. The staff downstairs was always super friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The furnishings were adorable also. Really fun trendy hotel.

Summary: Check-in was smooth, staff was kind and gracious. My room was clean, lovely, and comfortable. The lobby and hallways smelled clean and fresh. My only suggestion (not complaint) would be to provide a standard-height chair. The bar-height chair provided was stylish, but it was impractical and unusable for eating or working on the small and convenient desk. The complimentary drinks were delicious, the bar was fun and well-appointed, the food was delicious, and the coffee bar was perfect. It may be time for carpet replacement in the hallways to the rooms, though, at least on my floor.

Summary: I selected Radio Hotel because it was the only decent-looking hotel in Manhattan at a reasonable price that day. Location was much farther uptown than I've ever stayed so I was a little hesitant, but ultimately the reviews were positive, so I went for it. Hotel itself is quite lovely. An old building that's been retrofitted into a cool modern hotel. Typical of Manhattan, my room was tiny, but served my purpose. Service was friendly and helpful. The resort fee that's required and only gets you watered-down cocktails or a cheap beverage from the cooler is frustrating but becoming the norm nowadays for hotels. The location is GREAT for someone that's driving INTO the city but doesn't want to drive AROUND the city. Coming in on the George Washington Bridge and taking the Cross Bronx Expressway you can exit very close to the hotel and the on-ramp to get back on the expressway is literally across the street from the hotel. Easy in and easy out. Secure parking garage just around the corner. The subway is a couple of blocks away, but it's a perfectly fine walk. Just plan a long time if you're trying to get to Midtown because of how far North it is. Probably wouldn't be my first choice to stay at again because of how disconnected it is from Midtown, but certainly no regrets. If it was the best option, I would have no hesitation to stay here again.

Summary: Overall, it was great. Staff was extremely friendly. The room was clean and looked newly renovated. Although, it claimed to have a smart tv, the tv was just regular television that only allowed you to click on the live cable. But even live tv didn’t work. And my only other complaint would be the sliding bathroom door. It just wouldn’t close and it would slide open.

Summary: The location leaves a lot to be desired, the area where it is located is really a problem, I do not recommend it at all, then when you are checking in they surprise you with other extra charges for using the "facilities" (none), the rooftop is not enabled, only for events, that is to say in the end you pay more money, you will be far from everything and the area where it is is the worst there is.

Summary: This hotel is located right at the upper end of Manhattan, close to the Bronx. Not exactly a posh area. People drinking in parked cars at 7 a.m.! However, you don't feel unsafe. The hotel is very unusual and funky. Good for a weekend break. Decent gym. Rooms - clean, but avoid the cheapest ones, as they are extremely small and claustrophobic. Go for the bigger ones. You will get a fair bit of noise from adjoining rooms/ corridors. Not really designed for business travelers, the chair/ desk setup is quite uncomforable. This hotel is for tourists who need a relatively inexpensive place to stay, close to the subway. The restaurant is great.

Summary: Everything was wonderful. The hotel is fun and funky. The room was clean and cooled to perfection in the August heat. The neighborhood may not be the polished version of New York that Hollywood portrays, but it is the real deal. Grab a bacon-egg-and-cheese at the bodega, some fresh OJ from and street stand, and cool off in the open hydrant. Do yourself a favor and get some chicken at Malecon.
