Positive: The view, activities for kids, very helpful & friendly staff, playgrounds, reasonably priced pub grub at the lodge.

Negative: Very noisy can hear every other guests movements including snoring at night. Carpark isn’t numbered to rooms and people from the lodge drive up to use the lake. Staff know that this is a problem but do nothing. Restaurant food good but a tad expensive.

Summary: Amazing view but a pretty dated place we will be back but with the caravan next time

Positive: Fantastic location and view. The lake room was comfortable.

Negative: The lake room we stayed at although was comfortable but you can hear rooms next door either side with foot steps and doors was quite loud during the course of evenings.

Positive: Large bedroom with en-suite facilities and a balcony overlooking a lake. The restaurant was close by. There was plenty to do

Negative: The food was uneven, large portions and some really good dishes and some disappointing ones too.
