Cozy and clean waterfront home on Raber Bay. Enjoy the view from the large living room windows, front deck or lawn. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, boating, birdwatching and more in a peaceful setting. The shoreline is a mixture of rocks, sand and clay. Water shoes are recommended.
The home is a single level home requiring 3 steps to enter the home. The home has a wood burning fireplace and a large laundry room. A fish cleaning shack is located on the property.
This amazing getaway is positioned at the end of a short, private road. The driveway is circular and there is ample parking for vehicles and trailers. The home is conveniently located between the 2 public boat launches in Raber. A private boat launch is just down the road for a minimal fee.
The home is equipped with WiFi and a smart TV in the living room. A mini split air conditioning unit cools the main living areas of the home. Each bedroom has a fan for your comfort.
***During the winter, Raber Bay can be accessed from the property by snowmobile, cross country skis or snowshoes.
During warmer months (when the ice is gone!), a dock is on site for your small fishing boat. 4 kayaks and 2 paddle boards are available for guests to explore the nearby island, shore line and bay. An outdoor firepit is available for guests to enjoy. Firewood is provided for guests.

Summary: I love the house, the host, and the nearby area. We come here every year during Christmas to see winter and watch the ships going up and down the St. Mary's River. While you can see the ships, they're further away and off at an Eastern angle than we would like. However, a bonus we partook in was a trail that leads from the driveway and goes South through the woods along the coast that we snowshoed several times. Even with the mediocre view of the ships, I would happily come up here again in the winter.

Summary: My stay was with my wife and daughter. My family loved the home. It was immaculate. I have never experienced a home with everything supplied, such as toiletries, games, bedding, and all cleaning accessories. The home was so clean and comfortable. The home was warm and cozy on our arrival. It was like you were going to your own home. It was very well prepped for our late fall stay. The view out of the picture window of the freighters and surrounding islands and bays was priceless. I highly recommend this beautiful home and quiet surroundings. I will return again.
