Summary: Comfortable, and clean stay. Back parking lot could use some work, the potholes are terrible. Only 1 pillow per person, might be nice to have a second and maybe an extra blanket. Only had the sheet and comforter. Very close to shopping and the locks. Overall a nice stay.

Summary: The owner was very helpful. We stayed in a cabin in the back. The air conditioner wasn't working and the room was hot, but the owner fixed it quickly. Room was small, but fine for one night. Excellent location to the ferry going to the locks, just a walk across the street.

Summary: Location is very desirable. Summer rates plus a $40(!) fee for dog put it at $200 a night for a meh room. Bed felt very small and so close to a wall it was almost impossible to get in and out of bed. Great water pressure in the shower tho!

Summary: The only plus here is the location. I ordered a “premium” room.. um we need to define that word. The entire location is very old and not much investment has been made in years. Bed was lumpy and hard, pillows were poor and mismatched, the AC didn’t work on blew hot air. Carpet was sandy, mismatched lighting and someone used electrical tape and an open splice to a harsh flourcent light fixture. An Ashtray full of cigarette butts was on my porch table at arrival and by day 2 of my stay it was clear no one cared. No one was friendly or even offered to refresh towels. This is a hospitality field and people should at least be friendly. I stayed 3 nights and left early because I couldn’t do it one more night. Young Lady at the desk was unfriendly when I opened the door to get coffee. I never went back for coffee again. I would gladly pay for a good cup of coffee without attitude. Find a better option for your soo locks stay. This place needs serious investment to make is acceptable.

Summary: The lockview is an old property. We stayed in a cabin. They used the cheapest materials for everything in these cabins but it didn't matter. It's quant and close to everything downtown. The Lockview restaurant was good. The smoked whitefish dip was AMAZING. We payed $529 for 3 nights. Breakfast was ok. Nothing out of this world. Bisquits and gravy with the typical continental offerings. Would stay there again. 😊
