Positive: This is a heritage 1930's building with bedrooms being just that with ensuites and modern plumbing in heritage style sqeezed in. Separate is a spacious communal living space with dining room area and large fully equipped kitchen, all facilities are well maintained and clean. Catering excellent; self serve using plentiful basket of gourmet foods for each roomi waitin in commercial chiller in the kitchen.

Negative: My shower had a hand held attachment but it didn’t work, only the above large attachment worked .

Positive: Unexpected that we were required to cook our own breakfasts. Food was provided, but because there was no way of returning / swapping unwanted items there must have been considerable wastage.

Positive: The breakfast hamper was very good.

Negative: Communication was poor. There is a telephone number to ring but no one answers and the message bank is full. The bed was very high and it was a herculean effort for me to get in it. Dangerous too trying to find things to use to climb in.

Summary: A picture property full of character and history but very impersonal, you never meet the host.
