Positive: Wet helpful staff, great food, amazing location!!!

Negative: Lots of signs only in Norwegian, ok it’s in Norway, but not that helpful for foreign visitors would be the only very minor issue.

Positive: A wonderful hotel in the middle of nature, away from the hustle and bustle. Modern, comfortable, functional. The room has everything you need, the bathroom is equipped with good quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Access to the spa area for hotel guests is free, the spa area with saunas and a swimming pool is open until 8 pm. The cozy restaurant serves breakfast from 7 am to 9 am on weekdays. Dinner from 6 pm, a table must be booked in advance. The quality of breakfast and dinner is good. The hotel and restaurant staff are friendly. An excellent hotel for relaxation.

Negative: There are some recommendations for improving the service and rest in the hotel: the pillows are not very comfortable, it would be great to replace them with orthopedic ones. It would be better to extend the breakfast time to 10.00, for complete relaxation of the guests of the spa hotel. In the spa area, it is necessary to eliminate small problems with the doors in the sauna and hamam (they do not close completely).

Positive: Pristine gorgeous location on remote rocky lake in deep boreal forest,, first-class design and quality in the main lodge and in almost every aspect of the property. Very clean and everything in the room worked well. Wifi quality was very good.

Negative: One small thing. The art/photos in the restaurant area featured Hollywood celebrities and James Bond characters, etc. , which we found to be tacky and incongruous with the natural beaufy and spirit of the place.

Summary: Romskog Resort and Spa is a quality destination in a marvelous natural settng.

Positive: The good offer of swimming pools and jacuzzi. Nice! Good views to the lake. Good breakfast offer. The robes were given to us by the hotel when leaving :)

Negative: The unpaved road to get there. It was full of holes. Signs on the road to get there could have been clearer. The outdoor sauna had no wood.

Negative: We’ve got quite dirty room with few things that need to be fixed. Especially very loud and barely working coffee machine. Spa need renovation in few places. Steam sauna in both places didn’t work correctly.
