Positive: We really enjoyed our stay. The place was spotlessly clean. The gardens were beautiful. The swimming pool was very peaceful. Ricardo was a great host; very attentive and friendly. We loved meeting Brenda the dog. Breakfasts were great, very tasty and enjoyed having the fruit/veg grown in the garden. Would 100% recommend. No need for a car- was always super easy to get an Uber or Bolt into Lisbon or Sintra- both journeys took about 20 minutes- cost was around 10euros each way. It was nice to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the city and go in when needed. There are really nice restaurants in Sintra, as well as the palace- definitely worth a visit. Ricardo recommended Incomum to eat in Sintra, which was the best meal of our entire stay.

Negative: Nothing. We liked everything :)

Positive: A place that is all paradise. The owner, Ricardo, welcomed us with excellent glasses of wine and everything was just perfect The beds are comfortable, the room is equipped with everything you need. The room and the whole place are clean and polished with the best level of maintenance you could ask for. The garden is one of the most beautiful and well-kept I have ever seen. Simply perfect!!! A huge thank to Ricardo who goes above and beyond to make your vacation perfect. He runs the place in the most service-oriented way imaginable. Even though there was a problem with the hot water on the first evening, Ricardo was immediately available and fixed the issue. A perfect place for a trip to the Sintra area, Cabo da Roca, etc. We highly recommend this piece of paradise. And we hope to return as soon as possible!

Negative: The only thing is the breakfast which is a bit limited, although it is served in stunning dishes, and everything is very tasty and good.

Positive: Hard to know where to start we have traveled widely across the world and this is the best bed and breakfast accommodation we have ever stayed in. It is immaculate, the attention to detail is mind blowing and Ricardo literally could not do more for you, from welcome drinks to little night caps with chocolates at bed time to bottles of water on departure all these little things are not necessary but make for a first class experience. We can’t forget to include Brenda to his wonderful dog who has to be the calmest most well behaved dog we have ever met. The koi fish pond is amazing and the swimming pool is fantastic. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something a little bit special and lot relaxing thank you for looking after us so well we hope to be back

Positive: Well, where can I start with this?! The property is stunning, I am sure you have seen the photos - but the host Ricardo takes the experience to another level. He was very accomodating and exceptionally attentive, without lurking around or anything like that. I booked this stay for my birthday and i knew it was going to be amazing, but i still wasnt ready! when i stepped through the gates, I was honestly taken aback and was glad to have a sit down and a drink to take it all in! Ricardo was very efficient upon arrival. He gave me my key, showed me around the entire property and then left me to my own devices This is Ricardo's family property, and they stay on the other side that you would be staying in. The whole time i was there I think i came across the family dog Brenda more than I did Ricardo! Despite it being such a beautiful property, the hosts are not hovering or checking up on you. I felt like I was at home and had my own privacy. I cannot find a single fault with this stay in all honesty. Nothing was too much for Ricardo, and the surpises were endless! Despite this stay being a little over my usual budget, I have already made the intention to return in the future! if you are on the fence, get off and make the booking! It is so worth it, i promise

Negative: My only problem is with how far this place is!

Positive: This was a marvellous choice. The property exceeded all our expectations and we enjoyed a thoroughly personal service from the owner, Ricardo, who takes special care in providing attention to every detail, so that guests feel comfortable, well looked after and perfectly at home. The property is spotlessly clean, and the service is equivalent to a 5* hotel. We would thoroughly recommend it to everyone.
