Positive: Honestly, this is one of the best properties our family (M49, F48, F16, F13) have every stayed at. Maria & Joao have done an phenomenal job creating and equipping a space that is designed to bring family together. From Joao putting up a volleyball/badminton net the day we arrived, to the beautiful coy fish pond and amazing landscaping the amount of shared activities on-site is great! In addition to the activities on-site, they have a telescope to scan the ocean for whales during the day and scan the starry night sky in the evening. Finally, the location is excellent. 15 minute to PD and everywhere except the far east coast is under 1 hour. We WILL be staying with Maria and Joao on our next trip to the Azores!

Positive: Beautiful, spacious propriety with stunning and huge grounds. Owner very helpful and responsive; he kindly accommodated an early check in given overseas flight schedules, which was very much appreciated. We had some cool rainy weather which kept us indoors for one day; we enjoyed the lovely fireplace to keep cosy! Would love to return in summer.
